As you will be aware if you follow us on Facebook, as many people do, we are a light hearted bunch of guys and girls enjoying what we do, the people we serve and the business we are in. However, in these unprecedented times and with the present difficulties we are all facing we would like our customers to understand the following.
Our priority is always serving our customers and maintaining the working environment we operate in. We seek to provide a safe environment for our customers and our team members and in times such as these, we believe it is our role to continue to do our best to provide the best deals on the best products and do everything we can to keep our customers and our team safe and healthy.
I wanted to share some of the things we’re doing to ensure everyone who shops with us or works with us is safe, as well as do our bit to prevent the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19.
Firstly, we are following the advice of the Australian Government and World Health Organisation, and their recommendations for minimising the spread of this virus.
Over the past few weeks we have taken a range of precautionary measures to prevent the possible spread of the virus within our large open air warehouse and those that interact within it.
• Commencing increased cleaning and sanitation of our surfaces, equipment and facilities.
• Preparing our staff to respond quickly to any emerging situation should it occur, to best ensure the health and safety of everyone involved
• Requiring any staff displaying flu like symptoms to refrain from coming to work, and introducing additional benefits for staff members to ensure this does not financially disadvantage them during this process.
